French Beaded Flowers: Part 1 - Flowers

Join Gigi to learn some of the beginner flower shapes and techniques: continuous loop, continuous wraparound loop, and continuous crossover loop.

This is the first in three classes that will give you a beautiful set of beaded flowers, complete with leaves (Part 2) and a Shasta daisy (Part 3).

Materials Required 

(all available with a 20% discount when taking the workshop):

• Seed Beads:
  • 11/0 seed beads in various flower colors
    Each flower requires approximately 1-4 gms each (total 8 gms)
• Crystals/Pearls:
  •  4 mm crystal or pearl (1 per flower, total 3)
• Wire:
  • 26 gauge, in silver, gold or green
    (1 reel, minimum of 15 feet, or 5 yards)
    24 gauge can be used, but it can be harder to manipulate
• Miscellaneous:
  • Stem wire (20 gauge, 1-2, depending on length of flower stem)
  • Floral Tape (green, appx 1-2 feet per flower)
• Tools:
  • Pliers (round nose or chain nose)
  • Wire cutters
  • Ruler
